Dendrit CALHYDRA - Easily Calculate Interconnected Trades

Seamlessly integrated into the BIM process

Dendrit CALHYDRA imports existing models from supported CAD systems or BIM authoring software and, as an integrated solution, enables detailed planning, reliable simulations, and intelligent calculations for the respective trades. In the plumbing sector, you have access to many smart features – including comprehensive calculations for drinking water and wastewater networks, as well as integrated simulations for circulation and flushing systems. With the heating pipe network module, you can also perform hydraulic balancing easily and accurately, even for complex pipe networks. The material takeoff provides you with detailed information on all calculated quantities across all trades. This data can be easily exported to all common quantity takeoff systems.

Integrated Planning with CALHYDRA Connect

Autodesk Revit

Dendrit CALHYDRA Connect enables Autodesk Revit to be integrated with CALHYDRA. This module allows any families to be mapped to the calculation model, enabling flexible content without imposing any requirements on the BIM model. Once the media to be transferred have been specified, drinking water systems, building drainage systems, and heating and cooling networks can be transferred to Dendrit CALHYDRA.

Automatically import calculation results into the Revit model

After the calculation, you can write the results to the attributes – for labeling or for evaluation in component tables. CALHYDRA Connect also allows for graphical adjustments: Dimensions, insulation, built-in components, and pipe materials from the calculation can be automatically adjusted in the Revit model.

BIM-Based MEP Design with CALHYDRA DE

Graphisoft MEP Designer

CALHYDRA can now be connected to Graphisoft MEP Designer via a dedicated interface. This allows drinking water, heating, cooling, wastewater, and stormwater systems to be easily exported to CALHYDRA for hydraulic calculations. The calculated sizing results are then imported back into Graphisoft MEP Designer so that the model can be updated accordingly. This integration supports a fully BIM-based workflow for precise planning, efficient coordination, and maximum productivity in MEP design. The integration is also available to users of ArchiCAD Collaborate, a package specifically tailored to the needs of interdisciplinary design firms.

Drinking Water Planning with CALHYDRA DE

Graphisoft DDScad

CALHYDRA DE can be integrated with DDScad if the SH10 module is licensed in DDScad. Using the interface, drinking water systems can be transferred to CALHYDRA DE, and the results can then be displayed in the visualization filter in DDScad.

Bausoft Haustech CAD

CALHYDRA CH is available specifically for the Swiss market. The product data for the local product line is stored here. Through data integration with Bausoft Haustech and the “Leitung 3D” module, complete models for drinking water installations created using the single-line method can be transferred to CALHYDRA. After extensive calculations and simulations, the results can be labeled or visualized in 3D.
