Heating pipe network

Heating pipe network

With the "Heating Pipe Network" calculation function for new and existing systems, you'll always be on the safe side when it comes to hydraulics.
Pipe Network Sizing

For new and existing facilities

With Dendrit CALHYDRA and Dendrit STUDIO, you can calculate your heating pipe network based on both the schematic and the floor plan. In addition to calculating new systems, our solution also allows you to design existing systems using fixed values (products already installed). The drawing and calculation checks performed during data entry and calculation provide you with feedback on plausibility and offer extensive additional assistance.

Hydraulic Balancing

Energy-Optimized Operation

Hydraulic balancing is essential for ensuring that you can operate your heating system in an energy-efficient manner.

Designing and calculating complex hydraulic circuits – with or without mixers, control valves for branch and distribution lines, heating manifolds, hydraulic diverters, and thermostatic valves with flow controllers – is simple and intuitive with Dendrit CALHYDRA and Dendrit STUDIO. The division of the network into sections using branch control valves, differential pressure regulators, or flow rate controllers, as well as their design, is an integral part of the multi-stage hydraulic balancing process. The generation of adjustment lists for fine-tuning provides the ideal complement to the presentation of results.

Efficient Pipeline Network

Pump Design

Efficient Pipeline Network

In addition to performing hydraulic balancing of the heating pipe network, you can use Dendrit CALHYDRA and Dendrit STUDIO to size safety valves and diaphragm expansion tanks. The automatic pump sizing feature, which uses actual WILO products, ensures an efficient pipe network and provides a clear overview of the sized products via the performance curve diagram.

Another bonus: The displays of the valve authority band and the individual set points of the control valve in the characteristic curve diagram round out the overview of the hydraulic piping network calculation.

Automatically adding dimensions, consumers, and control devices to the drawing using presets saves a lot of time and is updated immediately after every change.

The coordinated selection of accessories ensures a properly configured piping network and accounts for its hydraulic effects.

The Hydraulics Report offers you the ideal solution for comprehensive documentation of calculation results, including a flow path overview. With numerous export formats, you can quickly and easily generate a document (e.g., a PDF file) containing calculation settings and results. Important: A printout of the calculation results is recognized as supporting documentation for funding programs (KfW, BAFA).

From expansion tanks to determining the necessary accessories for control valves, Dendrit CALHYDRA and Dendrit STUDIO identify the materials required for the project. The priced materials list includes not only the pipe material but also all couplings and actuators, providing a reliable basis for cost estimation.
